|
|
Hi there!
Let's say I have a program that I can run from the command line and, given a set of parameters, generates a model in .obj format.
Is there any way I can call it from within a script?
I would like to write an importer to ask some parameters to the A3D user, execute the program and import the generated model.
Any suggestion?

No problem to add it.
I can create a test version for you (and only you), with the command added, but the animation features will be in a temporary states. Do you want one?
the feature will be publicly available in the next release...

Sorry for the delay in aswering this.
I'll wait next version. I'm trying to promote Albatross 3D among the Second Life builders community.
I want that those that read my blog will be able to do the same things using the version that they can download from your site.
Anyway, it will be a wonderful addition for next release, probably a sort of "plugin system"? |
