Hello all
I have a vague recolection of ppmodelor from some years ago and it certainly has moved on quite a bit. I would certainly recomend this, as someone over at renderosity did to me.
The bones area is really what I'm looking for so I dare say I shall be back to ask some questions.
regards
Mark

Thanks
I can't seem to join the bones together. Do I move on to the animation tab for this?
Is there a way to invert the z and y axis in the config? I saw an old post about this but is this possible now?
Apart from that still messing around and I must say its quite a reasonable UI which for me is the make or break and is probably why not evryone is using blender!
many thanks

Not sure to understand about the bones... when you add a bone, it is added as the child of the currently selected bone.
There are always join together... you can change the hierarchy by Ctrl-dragging a bone name in bone list (bottom right of the interface).
Yes, the change of y and Z is still working, but then the turntable config is weird... I will update this.
For the UI, I will post a new version soon... it is far better (at least, I think so Smile).

to attach the bones, you need to edit the weight map...
3 tools for this:
- Weight Vertices: low level weighting by selecting vertices and setting the corresponding weights...
- Influence: set the influence of each bone, then compute the weights of vertices
- Paint: Paint the weights.

The test tool can be used to test the bones...
The animation toolbox use the bones, There you can add contraints (IK, target)... but before going to the animation toolbox, wait a little, I have corrected a few bugs and will release a new version soon (next week),
