What I would like to see :implemented in Albatross3D:
- an improved mirror tool ( vertices snapping in symmetry plane)
- Ring edges selection + cut and join + slide edge in one macro command.
These 2 last features to speed up the modeling workflow.

that is already part of the beta you have...
Go to the vertex toolbox
hide the 3D manipulator (space bar)
then, you can use the 'tweak' tool. drag vertices on top of a connected one to merge the vertices, drag a vertex on top of another (not connected) vertex of the linked faces to create an edge, use the end of the edges to turn edges, middle of edges to do a ring split and slide.
the middle of border edges can be used to extrude, and drag to the middle of another edges to link the 2 faces...
A video on this will come!
and all of this respect the symmetry plane...

- an Albatross Youtube Channel with 10 minutes long tutorials:
Video 1 : The Interface
Video 2 : On modeling ( Tools on box modeling and edge extrusion modeling)
Video 3 : How to texture a model (UV etc... By the way the 3D painting one On Vimeo is really great !
Video 4 : Bones and rigging a simple character
Video 5 : Animation ( a simple walk cycle for instance)
Video 6 : Rendering
Something like this channel (Blender):
http://www.youtube.com/user/cgboorman?feature=watch
So Albatross would have the audience and recognition it deserves.

That would be nice, and I hope I will find the time to do so... but it is a very long task! Doing video is long, you need preparation, then recording, and editing!!!

PS: The Boolean Operations work great !

Cool... thanks to the Carve library.

One last thing : I prefer the old interface with the green and red icons
The last one is really austere ....
|
Cool
Yes, I agree with you... you can try other icons, they can be changed in the "Options->Interface Colors..." menu item.... and feel free to propose other ones!!!
Thanks to you.
Happy new year
