well i just wanted to know how to add colour to the model because i've made a few models bu i am unable to add colour.

the color of your model is changed with the material.
The displayed color can also be linked to the display mode.
In "Solid" mode, the color is global and only depend if the mesh or face of the mesh are selected.
In flat and and textured mode, the color is defined by the material (mainly the difuse color). In the parameter area, on the left, scroll down when one mesh or some faces are selected, until you find the material dropdown window. Click on the Edit button.
