Well, I'll be using the PPModeler during the development of a game using the Torque Engine and Ogre with a team. I will also be continuing writing my tutorial. Right now with the tutorial I have alot written down and drawn on paper. This will be my first tutorial, which I would like to show an easy method of how you can take your knowledge of drawing in 2D by making artwork in 3D. I see alot of tutorials showing how to model one thing. This will mainly be showing easy import techniques to modeling (which is also a way of speed modeling). Just making clear, this is a tutorial about how to model a an object off of a front and side view. This will be a tutorial on techniques. Then, I will be making a model using all techniques. Hopefully this will help those who have trouble of how to cut models to add details with a techneque I call "X, Circle, Sculpt Front & Side" ( you will see what I mean if you don't have a clue). Also, of how to take full advantage of bridging faces on organic and non-organic models. Which I would also like to thank Pierre for adding great features to this program especially (my most adored) sculpting function, which will be used quite a bit.

no problem at all....
I'm working on the next beta, with a new drawing mode, and shortkeys for the sculpting tool. I will also add a new view Tool which is hidding faces. It will be usefull in the sculpting tool, if the model is too eavy.
Will post some pictures soon. |
