How do i deselect?
When I make a selection I can not deselect without making a new selection.
Also I am have not found it in A3d yet, but there a way to create selection sets and name them. |

Shift-click is used to add/remove from selection and Ctrl-i to invert selection, and there usually is other selection possibilities in the popup menus...
For the faces, you have the face groups on the rights. just create a new one while the desired faces are selected and use the popup menu (Select Tools->select by face groups...) to select them latter.
For the edges, there is the mark edges and select marked edges tools, but marked edges have another (possible) purpose: special rendering.
Not yet for the vertices... but for both all of them, I have it in my todo list. One question: is 32 groups enough?
A small (hidden) trick: use Shift-right click on a face, an edge or a vertex (while in one of these three toolboxes) to switch to the corresponding toolbox (so, if you are in the face toolbox, shift-right click on a vertex will bring you to the vertex toolbox).

32 faces groups I think that is plenty.
I know how to use the face groups now.
A3d is a great program and getting better the more I use it.
I look forward to helping you anyway I can.
I have not been this excited about a modeling program in a while.
Talk to you again soon and thank you again. |
