I downloaded and installed the latest beta version before xmas, but when I start it up I get these error messages.
is there anything I can do or is it the fact that it is a beta version of the programme?
Thanks in advance _________________ Just do it, It might be fun. |

I had the same error in installing the new version on an old one.
To get ride of it , delete old version make a clean disk without albatross3d.
install new version work fine for me. |

yes, that's the way to go...
I changed the scripting, and removed scripts for renderer that are no more evolving for years... so, when installing over, the removed scripts stays and are the cause of the errors!!
or you can simply remove the corresponding scripts in the scripts folder of the installation.

Hey Guys,
I followed your suggestions,
I uninstalled Albatross 3D, went to explorer and deleted the Albatross folder (which had a subfolder called scripts).
I am running Windows 7 x 64 bit, so I also went into the original Programme Files folder and uninstalled the first version of Albatross that I installed, went in and deleted the Albatross folder.
then reinstalled the latest version of Albatross 3D and it all loaded ok..
Thanks again, now I just have to learn it _________________ Just do it, It might be fun. |

Cool...
There is a lot to do, and yes, the development is continuing...
help is welcome, and the type of help depends on what you want to do...
A lot of Testing is required, helps need to be improved, tutorials are needed, material libraries and of course, a lot of coding....
and feedbacks (new requirements, improvements...)
I am French too, but living in Belgium.
