use the texture proj tool.
A texture projector can be associated with a mesh or a face set.
Select your mesh, activate the texture projector tool, enter a name.
Then you are in the texture projector toolbox.
There, you can select the projector type (plane, cylindrical, spherical, uv), and edit the properties.
use the Texture tool to set the texture of the projector.

I still can't achieve to do it Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed
It says that "there is no texture projected associatied with the object selected" Embarassed
So I try to put a box from the meshes option, I selected it and tried on it, but it's the same Confused

Oh I found the "txt.project" on the left menu, but even if I've taken free textures on the web, it doesn't work, what do I do when I have selected a part and clicked on "txet.project" ? there is so much button Embarassed

Create a box, and activate the face toolbox:

Use te texture projector tool:

You are in the texture projector toolbox:

The white rectanglke is your projector. Use the Axis of projection y (in the right part of the window), and the selct you texture with the "Texture Map" button.
This opens the texture selector:

Either load a texture or create a new one with the corresponding button.
That's it.
One last point, you can't see the texture in the solid drawing mode. To see it, change the drawing mode to 'Phong' with the 'D'/'d' keys; The drawing mode is indicated at the top right of the views:

hope this help,

it's ok, I used the "d" key for changing of viw and it appears, strange cos I add try to "texture" it by the menu, but I'm glad, now I have to do an arch, or a curve like it:

I can't use this arch Embarassed it's not enough well builed, as a bit of a half circle, what I wanted is a really symétrical thing. I tried to do one, with a sphere but it's never as good as I would like it to be, regular and well curved Confused
